I decided to use the movie The Lion King in order to help tell my story using my three artifacts because I love the message the me movie gives the audience. In the movie, Simba starts off as a lion cub that is really confident and proud to be the next ruler of the Pridelands. Then Mufasa is killed and Simba blames himself for his father’s death causing him to run away and live somewhere else. Finally Simba finds out that he wasn’t responsible for his father’s death so he goes back to reclaim his rightful place as ruler. One of my favorite songs in that movie was “The Circle of Life” because it talked about how everything, in the end, comes full circle. In my case, my journey started in high school when I read and participated in forensic cases at high school, continued when I came to Bloomsburg to study Digital Forensics, and ended when I received my first case. When I think about my future cases I also think that maybe someone will read what I wrote and be inspired to follow the path that I did. Although Simba and I are different, we both take our place in the circle of life continue to follow its path so when our stories end, hopefully, someone else’s begins. So even though our time will be over, the circle of life will remain and continue to exist.
